About
"kaya" evokes the image of a quiet field where flowers and grasses grow together.
The name comes from my two cats, Hana ("flower") and Kusa ("grass"), inspired by Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. To me, they are like a gentle field that quietly appeared in my life, bringing light to ordinary days through their silent companionship.
At "kaya", cats are at the heart of every illustration.
Each piece captures fleeting gestures, curious expressions, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. Through these drawings, I hope to preserve the warmth found in the smallest details—and perhaps remind someone of a companion who once brought the same comfort into their life.
Alongside original illustrations, I also create commissioned artworks and share the everyday lives of Hana and Kusa through social media.
